Our design team at Shape Games is not the largest one at the moment, but is soon to be on the lookout for a new asset. What does the work in the team look like? “I try to open up and have a democratic view on our stuff and let people do what they are best at. I think it works fine for us in that matter. We share a lot of articles, and YouTube guides in order to develop our skills.”
Favourite part of the week for Martin is Saturday morning, as he likes to spend time with his kids, playing badminton or supporting a capoeira passion of one of his sons. He likes to play football, cook for his family, as well as relax: at least if there’s some time left.
His favourite memory from Shape Games is actually coming to the office and welcoming everybody. “We have a lot of different people, from different backgrounds and different countries, where they may not be that open and welcoming. I want to show myself as being open, so people could see me as a friend rather than just a boring colleague.”
“You need to find some kind of passion for the client or the work you do. It’s so much easier to be a good designer when you have a feeling about your client’s business. And you can get to a lot of agencies where you just do stuff because that's given on your table. But actually, if you can pursue something, find an agency where you know that they do stuff for clients that you actually like, you will instantly become better because you can put your passion into it.”
“If you like diversity in people, if you like challenges in your work life, if you're not afraid of saying your own opinion and contributing, then Shape Games will be a good fit for you. What I love about Shape Games is that there are so many different people at different ages. And that just inspires me.” Don’t hesitate and apply here →.
